New Python version release

Hi all, I see that there is a bit of lecagy struggle maybe moving to more modern compilation and pybind11? Is there any timeline for this, and also to get new versions out for Python 3.12, 3.13?

Because I deleted the obsolete cpython contents, I haven't made the PR yet.
