Recording is cut off after ~10 seconds

This appears to occur randomly but with increasing frequency: Recordings are cut off after 10 or 11 seconds, sometimes later. This is pretty annoying if you just recorded a 3 minute memo and only the first 10 seconds are stored... ;-)

Issue happens with all file formats, only bitrate tried 96 kbps

does it happen even if you keep your device on and the app open in the foreground?

This has been happening to me sporadically as well. I have not been able to reproduce this with the app in the foreground and the screen on, but if I turn off the screen, it's hit or miss—sometimes I'll lose a few seconds at the end, sometimes I'll lose several minutes, and sometimes I don't lose anything. Could this be happening due to the app being put to sleep by the OS, and if so, would a persistent notification during recording fix it?
