Watchly

Watchly is a large-scale e-commerce platform focused on selling wristwatches, designed to provide users with an enhanced shopping experience through advanced features. The platform is built using a scalable MERN stack architecture, aiming to handle high traffic and offer real-time analytics. Currently, only the frontend part of the project is available on GitHub, and the development is ongoing.

Features (In Progress)

  • Search, Sorting, and Filtering: Users can efficiently find products using advanced search, sorting, and filtering options.
  • Infinite Scroll: The product listings are designed to load seamlessly as users scroll down the page.
  • Personalized Recommendation System: An AI-powered recommendation engine to suggest products based on user preferences.
  • Virtual Try-On Feature: Users can virtually try on watches using AR technology (planned for future development).
  • AI-Powered Style Advisor: Offers style suggestions to users based on current trends and personal tastes (planned for future development).
  • Real-Time Analytics: Tracks user behavior and provides real-time insights (planned for future development).

Technologies Used

  • React: For building the user interface.
  • Tailwind CSS: For rapid and responsive UI development with utility-first styling.
  • JavaScript: For implementing interactive features on the frontend.

Project Setup

To run the frontend part of this project locally:

  1. Clone the repository:
