thank you for adding a Connect Guide for new users :)
Suggestions for clarity which might help brand new owners:
Step 3
Only release the [-] minus button after you see "Soldering Iron Connected" at the top of Pineflash app (usually 5-15 sec).
Pinecil screen is black/empty if it is correctly in "flash mode", otherwise repeat steps to connect or see next step to troubleshoot.
I suggest left justified instead of centered for longer text.
Add a Step 4 - so people know where to go if they just can't get Pinecil to connect to the PC so they can follow Troubleshooting steps first for cables/port issues - before coming to Pineflash for non-pineflash problems :)
Step 4
Issues: if you do not see "Soldering Iron Connected" at the top of Pineflash, then go to Pinecil Wiki firmware webpage to troubleshoot (https://wiki.pine64.org/wiki/Pinecil_Firmware). There are several reasons Pinecil might not connect related to a poor cable or fussy port on the laptop/PC. If you can not connect using basic BLISP app to flash pinecil, then Pineflash wil probably not work either as Pineflash uses BLISP under the hood to complete the flashing. The Wiki has several useful steps that commonly help people get Pineflash or BLISP communicating with Pinecil and connected to windows/linux/mac.
