A couple of questions:

  • Why are the fixes in this fork not contributed back to the main repo?
  • Is this fork compatible with Bitcoin 23?
  • Would it an idea to use the new RPC call getblockfrompeer instead of the custom code? If not, would it be an idea to redirect this call to the custom implementation?
  • DrBonez said that the proxy will never able to emulate a real archival node, so what is an example of something the proxy will fail to do that a real archival node can?
