Time formatting options (perhaps in settings)

For clients I need to have an intelligible time formatting for "Date" and "Time on Site" columns. For some reason, dates in my clients' builds of GA Dashboard display run together and out of order i.e.: "20170602" for 06-02-2017 and "311.45" instead of 5:19.
