It looks like the SynapseRuby gem currently isn't following regular naming conventions and so it fails to load automatically when added as a dependency in Rails. I believe this can be fixed by renaming the directory and file in the lib folder. For example are working off of a forked branch here: https://github.com/Kikoff/SynapseRuby/tree/christophe/wip
(although we renamed it to synapse_api, you'd probably what to keep the ruby in there to distinguish from other projects)
