When opening VIEVS using MATLAB, an error message 'Index exceeds the number of array elements (0)' occurs after entering 'vievs' for the first time. After entering 'vievs' again, an error message 'Error using close, referencing a non-existent field 'data'' occurs. What could be the reason for this?

I was aked to test the software for our students. I experienced the same. This happens if the EOP data is missing. Make sure that you first download the EOP data and place the file with the expected name at the correct location:
EOP C04 can be downloaded from https://datacenter.iers.org/data/latestVersion/EOP_20_C04_one_file_1962-now.txt. Take "EOP_20_C04_one_file_1962-now.txt" and store it as C04_20_1962_now.txt in /VLBI/EOP/.
