This release contains an entirely new folder dedicated to Unity assets, allowing you to use Whitebox grid setups in Unity using some new Shaders.
The Big Ones
- New Unity assets with a Whitebox Opaque and Alpha shaders and some work-in-progress 3D assets.
- The Blender materials were completely restructured to be fully editable from the Properties Panel. It's still a little messy due to how Blender's Material Properties work but this is a huge improvement, allowing you to duplicate just the material and be able to change everything including texture slots.
- The Blender Startup File has been reorganized and contains 3 base materials - Opaque, Alpha and Material Mixer.
Smaller Changes
- Changed the Unit Badge to something smaller, so it takes up less space and is less distracting overall.
- Renamed "Unit Line" to "Boundary and "Background" to Albedo for clarity.
- Added a new Background Color property for Opaque shaders to utilize the alpha component of most textures.
- Fixed UV mapping in Blender to ensure that it works irrespective of object position.
- Added Wood, Dots, Bricks and Sand texture types.
