The current textfield design is based in material2 definition.

IMO this definition lacks in some of the following:

Resize the label and value texts

The current tests related to text resizing based on a11y requirements show a spacing problem between the two elements.

Base size of the label

The current base size of the label when the input has focus is 12px, under what we would recommend to use in order to have legible text in a component.

Placeholder visibility

With the current definition, the placeholder of the input is only visible when the input has focus, forcing the user to go field by field to obtain more information about the expected values when needed.

Proposal

My proposal is to explore a new definition for how the elements of the textFields (and all related components) are organized in order to solve the issues commented above.
