When canceling program with Ctrl+C terminal inputs have to be made twice until recognized #30

In the image an input has already been made but it is ignored (like it doesn't exist) a second input is recognized

I think this is something to do with how terminals work -- for ending the input, you might want Ctrl+D instead? But I'm not sure, so feel free to leave this up :)
