Environment:
New Windows 10 computer with fresh install of everything

Steps:
Launch Firefox or Chrome
Launch AViewer
Inspect a text field

What happens:

  • IA2 properties not displayed, even though they are selected in settings
  • If you click Register IA2 DLL in settings, a strange dialog comes up (Japanese characters?). If you click OK about 20 times it goes away, but after that AViewer is locked up

Would you try the reregistration after renaming the IAccessible2Proxy32bit.dll(or IAccessible2Proxy64bit.dll) to IAccessible2Proxy.dll?

Hi Jun325, the DLL already had the name IAccessible2Proxy.dll. I went ahead and registered it manually from a Windows administrator command prompt using regsvr32, the top pane right properties pane seems to work now, but the left treeview pane and bottom-right pane are both blank.

Thank you for your report.
I’m working to fix the issue, but the cause is still unknown because I can't reproduce it yet.
Please give me a little more time.

I have just updated, but I'm not sure if it is going to work.
Could you try the latest version?
