Вот что происходит с русской версией U2 при включенной опции Gamepad Support.

Это пиратский руссификатор, на Софтклабе у меня некоторый текст исчезал вовсе.

Некоторый текст отображается правильно.

А можно сделать так, что если версия не того языка, который изначально, то кнопки геймпада отображаются, только в меню настройки управления?
