The latest version is bootstrappable which means attempts to check it is there using variables in the current window always decide it's not there

If I'm reading the code correctly, what it is trying to do is to save tabgroups manager sessions when you save a session manager session.

possibly worth hooking off sessionstore-state-write-complete event

Also remove the defunct preferences:

overrideSessionManagerRestoreSession
useSessionManagerSessions
