Windows support is possible using a GCC for windows port (MinGW) as pointed out in:
TileDB-Inc/TileDB#1129.

Better documentation / CI testing against Windows is probably required to make this a first class supported feature.

It would be worth checking the following issue periodically, as it seems people are semi-actively working on removing the GCC requirement: golang/go#20982

#364 fixes building on Windows. For reference, I did it by downloading Zig, setting CC to zig cc and adding -I<path-to-tiledb-dist>/include to CGO_CFLAGS, and -L<path-to-tiledb-dist>/lib to CGO_LDFLAGS.

Many tests failed because of differences in path names, which is something to address at a later time, in order to run CI on Windows. Also the debugger could not step in TileDB-Go code on my machine.
