while "USB-HID" already exists, it transfers input into the keyboard of the computer. I wish (if possible) it was recognized as a gamepad and could be used like one.
Motivation (behind your idea)
I did some experiments with my powkiddy Q90, USB-HID and Input Remapper for linux. Through the Remapper I made a virtual gamepad to which I redirected the output from my powkiddy. I tried it out on some platformers and it wasn't half-bad.
I just wish I didn't have to muck about with Input Remapper (or windows equivelant) whenever I wanted to do this on a new device.
