I've been wanting to make this post for a few months now, to explain why there hasn't been a release in the last few months. I feel a sense of responsibility to this community and the app itself, to continue developing, improving, and fixing bugs. I'm continuously amazed at the growing popularity and interest -- the contributions and suggestions have made developing this an absolute joy :) I can't believe we've gotten over 5 million pulls on Docker, that's crazy!!
While the commits are still rolling through, they've been primarily focused on bug fixes, with feature additions sparsely distributed. This pains me, and sometimes I fear I'm letting you guys down. The reason for this is pretty straightforward: between my last semester of college, graduation, new job, moving to a new state (Idaho!), spending time with family, and another big project I started over the summer (that's a secret, for now), it's been fairly difficult to find time to add a bunch of features.
The good news is that things will calm down significantly next month (Dec 2020)! Hopefully I'll be able to bring down the number of issues to something more reasonable, and release v4.2 before the end of the year. But I want to make sure you guys know that even when I'm at my busiest, I still try to check the repo every day or two to answer questions or fix a discovered bug, or look at PRs. So if you'd like to contribute -- don't worry, I'll make time to review your addition/suggestion/bug report.
Thank you guys for the continued support, I still can't believe so many people use an app I made :D Happy holidays, and happy downloading!
