Also, are you installing using the PPA/packages or from source?

I guess the documentation has to be rewritten then, since Mallard is no longer supported on newer systems. If it's not causing any other issues, I'll mark this down as a todo for later :)

Sure, no problem; glad I could help in any way. I'm not certain if it's causing any other issues (I suspect not) because I haven't actually used it, partially because I don't know how (guess that's what the docs are good for, LOL :D ) .
