Hi,

a bit more than a year ago, I had the same issue here. But this time I do not get it solved by myself.

All updates are installed:

I already rebooted the WLANPI and set the regulatory domain through the front panel
menu system, but it didn't help.

Any idea?

Please help.

Can you share the output of the following command?

sudo apt show wireless-regdb

What happens if you set the reg. domain to US?

I need to know the version of the wireless-regdb package you have installed:

Can you share the output of the following command?

sudo apt show wireless-regdb

You could also try installing the latest pre-release image (3.2.1), which includes the latest wireless-regdb package.

No reg domain set per default:

wlanpi@wlanpi:~ $ sudo wlanpi-reg-domain get
No reg domain configured yet. Configure one using "sudo wlanpi-reg-domain set XX", where XX represents the country code.

Its not possible to configure the reg domain:

wlanpi@wlanpi:~ $ sudo iw reg set DE
wlanpi@wlanpi:~ $ sudo wlanpi-reg-domain get
No reg domain configured yet. Configure one using "sudo wlanpi-reg-domain set XX", where XX represents the country code.

I have the same issue, when I try to use the display of my wlanpi m4. I can get to the menu "system - settings - rf domain - set domain DE", but I can't confirm the domain. sudo su also doesn't help:

root@wlanpi:/home/wlanpi# iw reg set DE
root@wlanpi:/home/wlanpi# wlanpi-reg-domain get
No reg domain configured yet. Configure one using "sudo wlanpi-reg-domain set XX", where XX represents the country code.

I also tried other rf domains. The issue remains.

All 6 Ghz channels are still disabled.

Any idea?

Thanks Hoppel

Did you reboot the Pi after setting the reg. domain either using CLI or FPMS?

Did you reboot the Pi after setting the reg. domain either using CLI or FPMS?

OK, I did it again and saw the following after ssh login:

┌──────────────────────────────────────────────────────┐
│ Warning: No RF regulatory domain has been configured │
└──────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘
Configure one using "sudo wlanpi-reg-domain set XX", followed by "sudo reboot". XX represents the country code.

wlanpi@wlanpi:~ $ sudo wlanpi-reg-domain set DE
[sudo] password for wlanpi:
A reboot is required. Reboot now? (Y/n)

I didn't use the correct command. But all 6GHz frequencies are still disabled:

Try setting CA as the country code to see if this is just a problem with an outdated wireless-regdb.
