Couldn't disable the brightness setting in 2.5.1 patch, and it fucked up my desktop brightness after I closed GTA SAN ANDREAS. Which mean basically , if i play with brightness setting in crashes.cfg, if i make it darker, my desktop will goes very dark ONLY if i closed GTA SA, and same story to brighter settings. The only way for me right now is to restart the pc in order to get rid of this bug.

Installing the current video-drivers helped me. But it rarely happens again.

I'll look into how difficult it is for me to remove this brightness setting. It was only an issue in Windows 8 and always worked fine in 7 and 10.

Since no one uses windows 8 anymore, probably time to remove it.

I always had the brightness issue no matter what OS I'm running. Last time was literally today because I just reinstalled the game. I'm currently running Windows 11 now but it also happened in 7, 8.1 and 10.

In crashes.cfg write this.
brightness - 128.
