Adaptative Lowest Speech Loudness (ALSL) #195

"Adaptative" is a reference to the second solution I thought. Probably a mix of both solutions would achieve my usecases. |

Hi! Thanks for chiming in! We have somewhat of an umbrella issue about this: #46. Our competitor, Skip Silence implements this feature using percentiles: vantezzen/skip-silence#36. For the percentile-based algorithm the tools are there, it's probably just a matter of implementing the algorithm. |

Thank you @WofWca , I see that this a paid feature among others. Even "mute silence" is paid feature. |

Greetings to all,
I have been properly using Jump Cutter for some time, and at this point I will initiate a discussion.
The idea of this post arises because I found myself tweaking the key feature "Lowest Speech Loudness" very frequently. This regularity is due to the vast diversity of content I watch.
For specific example, I listen carefully to a lecture with crystal clear audio without considerable noise. In this classic case, the default setting of 0.0005 is a suitable match.
Once finished, I instantly switch to an animated Youtube video with background music, for typical example, this video. The previous setting is useless, and I typically higher the thresholds to 0.031.
After a long time, I will listen to lo-fi music. I genuinely want to passively listen at "certain part" above certain thresholds and undoubtedly having the speed function do it's magic.
How could we tackle these different use-cases so as I don't observe myself tweaking the settings when switching content?
Possible solutions I could imagine of are as follows:
A priori I prefer the second solution, although, less straightforward.
Kindly,
