🟢 WordCamp Europe Contributor Day Recap
WordCamp Europes Contributor Day was last week and we had a lot of people joining our Hosting table to talk about the Hosting Testing Suite and the Hosting Directory. There are currently recaps and next step posts in progress that should be online in the upcoming days.
Did anyone from this group join and wants to share their recap?
🟢 AVIF and webP
With the release of WordPress 6.6 in July, extended support for optimized image formats such as AVIF and WebP is being introduced. @javiercasares is currently preparing a p2 post on make.wordpress.org/hosting with more details and instructions on how to enable those "new" formats on your hosting environments. According to some data shared with us during WCEU only around 30% of hosters support those formats right now.
