🟢 WordPress 6.6 Server Compatibility
We've reviewed the major release WordPress version compatibility post. The post went live last week, and we pinned it to the top of make.wordpress.org/hosting. You are welcome to continue contributing by adding comments to the post!
Hosting Team To-Do
🟢 WordPress US Contributor Day
WordCamp US is coming up on September 17-20, and we got the request to nominate table leads for the Contributor Day. We want to use the time and continue discussions about the plugin for the hosting directory but also focus on the WordPress Test runners.
I would love to have some volunteers helping to onboard all hosts joining that are not yet part. If you would like to join, please let us know. Additionally, we need volunteers to introduce the team and help onboarding.
🟢 Sustainability page in the Handbook
Since WordCamp Europe (and before) there have been conversations about sustainability in many of the various WordPress teams. We should spend some time adding a page in our teams handbook for hosting provides where we talk about sustainability on all levels and how hosts can work on it.
If you would like to work on this with us, take a look at the issue #249.
