🟢 WordPress Core news
WordPress 6.7 "Rollins" has landed!
WordPress 6.7 has released yesterday evening at 20:00 UTC with a ton of new features. Important for this round might be the improved PHP 8+ support and other Performance improvements that got merged in the core. The full list of new features is highligted on the release page:

Who already started the upgrades on their infrastructure? Any issues discovered so far?
Make also sure to prepare with the official Field Guide which is a great source of information:

Ok, let's move on to Hosting Team time.
Hosting Team Time!
🟢 WordPress Hosting Team Reps
We opened the Call for Nominations for the WordPress Hosting Team Representatives earlier today:
Nominations for Hosting Team Reps 2024
The Call is now open for roughly 2 weeks and you can nominate community members by:
We're aiming to get at least 2 Team Reps with a more spread timezone coverage than currently (Both Javier and Crixu) are in UTC+1 and it would be great to have backups to run meetings, attend Contributor Days and onboard new members.
⛈️ Brainstorming: What are our goals for 2025
In 2024 we finally achieved to improve the Hosting Test Suite and you can now report from multiple environments with the same Bot user. What would be great things you wish the hosting team would achieve in the next upcoming months?
I'll keep this async and invite everyone to contribute at their pace 🧵
🟩 Open Floor
Ok, if nothing else, let's move on to the Open Floor. You are welcome to bring any topic up for discussion at this time.

Closing
As a reminder for the next meetings / weeks, here are the dates and times (in UTC). Remember that this team does not change the times of the meetings as they are always in universal time (which every year changing it was a mess). Some of us already changed, some stayed in their timezones and others will follow over the next few days.
🟩 Meeting Times
Goodbye
That wraps up today's meeting. Please keep in mind, our discussions can continue in the #hosting Slack channel or on Make/Hosting anytime.
I hope you have a wonderful rest of your week! [/meeting]
