Installation breaks BGP/BIRD2

BIRD version 2.14
Once I installed this script on the Vultr VPS, BIRD BGP session is unable to run on that machine. I get this error
Socket error: TCP_MD5SIG: Invalid argument
So I assume it is because of the new kernel that didn't have TCP MD5 SIG on?

On Vultr, there is an option to bring your own IP space. For example, my IP space is "Business" type instead of "Datacentre" type, so I will not get so many captchas. Some sites block Datacentre-type IPs. Even I need BIRD on the VPS because I want to be able to use my IP space.
