tools and scripts for maintenance Synapse database?

Wouldn't it be nice to be able to launch some Synapse database maintenance script/tools from within the config panel?
I start a small list of them :

• Purge Remote Media API
• Delete local media by date or size
• synapse-compress-state : Tool for compressing (deduplicating) state_groups_state table
• Apparently something nice about orphan events was explained in here but the page is down for some days already : https://www.underworld.fr/blog/matrix-synapse-maintenance-de-la-base-de-donnee-postgresql

About Purge Remote Media API and Delete local media by date or size why not, but well I think probably synapse admin already include this feature.

And about synapse-compress-state, it's a duplicate of #283.

On other side, from what I know, actually there no way to launch action from the config panel. Some time ago it was possible, but I didn't see any doc about this feature in config panel v2. But if you find a doc, I would be happy to see it.

Closing for now it's it's not planed on my side. But still interested for a PR 😉

I confirm that synapse-admin can Delete local media by date or size . However, I didn't find how to Purge Remote Media API.

About #283, my bad, I forgot about it.
