Hi,

FAF is sending mail to Fedora maintainer about exceptions happening with external package release. For example, I received this report https://retrace.fedoraproject.org/faf/reports/2773913/ , caused by the ccrma release of supercollider. I had to click the show versions button to figure out it wasn't caused by the (recently added) package in rawhide.

When creating the report on client side, it would be hard to find whether the package belongs to distribution or not. We already differ packaged/unpackaged files. On server we are few hours/day behind what is built in koji. To conclude - that would be hard.

For obvious cases like these, you can go through Koji builds and try to match the installed NVR. Both on server and client side. There could also be a scheduled job in FAF to add some kind of marker to the report and then display some hint in the UI.

Subtler cases (identical NVR, but completely different code) are indeed tricky.
