Are there any plans for a no-install version, particularly for Windows?

Sorry but would be a no-install version ?
Note that for the coapp to be callable from the extension (i.e the browser), it takes creating manifest files at specific locations as per NativeMessaging specifications.

We could do like what we do for the DMG & tar.bz2 but for Windows.

I'm using a corporate PC where admin rights are required for installations. A portable app would make the coapp available for users like me.

Portable version is not required in that case, as admin rights are not necessary to install the coapp (version 2 and above). Can you give it a try: https://www.downloadhelper.net/install-coapp-v2

Hey there! This isn't consistent with my machine. At the moment, admin rights are required for installation. It's possible that this thread is outdated though. Thank youu.
