When contributing to this repository, please first discuss the change you wish to make via issue, email, or any other method with the owners of this repository before making a change.
Please note we have a code of conduct, please follow it in all your interactions with the project.
- Fork the repo to your personal github workspace, create a new branch for the feature, bug, documentation etc. you intend to work on and when ready create a Pull Request from that branch to opcap's main branch. Don't forget to add
-s
to yourgit commit
to make sure all your commits are properly signed with your user information and emails. - Ensure any install or build dependencies are removed such as files or logs that were not included on the gitignore file. It's often useful to check the files being staged for commit with
git status
to prevent staging files that are not part of the code. You can discard undesired changes withgit restore
command. Check git context help on that. - Update the README.md with details of changes to the interface, this includes new environment variables, exposed ports, useful file locations and container parameters.
- Your pull request will be merged automatically with an APPROVED and a LGTM labels from two other developers. If you don't want to have it merged automatically please put the label
do-not-merge/hold
. - If your work is in progress and not ready for review please include the label
do-not-merge/work-in-progress
