GUI screen does not have the correct fonts and exercise files don't work [BUG]

Describe the bug
When the program runs in v1.1 it has all the correct fonts. v1.2 update has an issue (see attached image) which I don't see the answer to.

I can capture the files and the subtitles but exercise files cause it to fail. I manually download these at the moment as I have an paid account through my job. I will be loosing this soon though so could do with some advice on the fix for this too.

I can live with the font issue but the exercise files are needed.

I fixed my strange screen issue by uninstalling the quicksand font. I didn't reinstall anything and all is good with the GUI issue now.

Still the same issue with exercise files though (saves them as 0KB).

Thanks to the contributors and fixers for posting your issue so I can fix one of mine.
