Yes, I also really need this feature. To be honest, I am not sure about the purpose of setting internal and external addresses in Homarr when configuring the app. Whether I am at home or outside, clicking the app in Homarr always opens the external address. |

Hi, yes there is. You can use a custom DNS in your network and create records for your external domains / hostnames. Then, use those hostnames in Homarr and all requests in your home network will get redirected to the local IP without ever leaving your network. |

@manuel-rw this discussion is related to that issue where people want to change the external address when they are at home. However this is not particularly super useful so that’s why we haven’t looked at it seriously until now. |

Is there a way to arrange Homarr to use internal IPs instead of reverse proxied external addresses when using it locally? In other words, I want it to direct to the internal IP when i click on services in homarr from within my LAN but direct to external address when i click on services externally
