This is a discussion / megathread for performance related issues. Currently at least the following things need to be implemented and / or fixed:

  • Dpad navigation performance, fix performance issues with the focus and hierarchy algorithm in selectable.ts
  • Lazy loading for carousels and possibly for whole pages too, to improve performance on TVs
  • Infinite scroll for grids
