Sounds like you are using a newer version of depthai that is structured differently so that the helper functionailities are now integrated elsewhere in the package.
As you can see in the requirements.txt I was using depthai 0.3.
I suggest you use the latest depthai package but you will have to find the necessary functions in there. Alternatively, use the packages as specified in the requirements.txt.
