Cannot set pluralizeListTitles = false

Hello,
Love the theme, exactly what I was looking for, great work.
I have the below in hugo.toml
pluralizeListTitles = false

However, when I run:
hugo config | grep plura
it returns
pluralizelisttitles = true

This is because I don't want my sections to have the 's' suffix.

Is there something in the theme that overrides the hugo.toml option? Is there is different approach I should be using?

I will take a look, I haven't tested theme with pluralizeListTitles before

Curious, do you actually get pluralize behaviour in your site?
it is an old parameter, and it changed behaviour somewhere around hugo version 0.55
I tested it at 0.135.0 and it seems to be false (and hidden) by default
