Just payed using this and the blockchain.info wallet. Vouch. |
@alexk111 , thank you so much for this work. You are valuable. I have been using this extremely useful solution for several months now. BitPay may think that they are doing the community or themselves a service by forcing their non-standard requirements upon their would-be-thankful dependents (us). It reminds me of parents who shouldn't be having children because of their tendency to abuse, without ever believing that they are abusing their children. Hiding the Bitcoin address, without any help from BitPay to uncover it, is essentially evil. Just because Gavin Andresen developed this useful BIP-70 protocol doesn't mean you, BitPay, should unflinchingly force your ideals upon your dependents, without any relief offered by you except "Tell your wallet developers that they need to bow to our will and desires. We believe we are right." My answer to that is "Opportunity". This is the perfect opportunity for a company to offer similar services as BitPay, with similar rates, but not enforce the ridiculous obligation of being entirely unable to use A BITCOIN ADDRESS. ...pissed... As if BitPay is the reason Bitcoin exists in the first place... "Ummm, no, BitPay. Bitcoin definitely existed before you and Gavin Andresen." I don't know what projects you are involved in, Alex, but keep up the great forefront work. I know that some of this coding/decoding stuff is simple. But you did it first, and makes it so that others don't have to. You have the obvious potential to be a big player and contributor in this young, powerful field. Rock On!! 👍👍 |
Just wanna say thank you :) |
Anyone running to any problems latley? |
@teasider, replied in #15. I've just tried to debitpay a BTC invoice - no probs detected. |

ขอบคุณ 🤗 |
ขอบคุณน่า น่ารักจัง |
🤗 |
worked for me i paid through BCH, the regular Bitpay system turned me off until i stumbled across your DeBitpay link somewhere on Reddit, not to mention i had to use a proxy because my country is (Bitpay) banned for some reason ,anyway i like the crypto payment system Bitrefill uses better |
This app is still working i have just paid an invoice using this tool. Awsome tool and bitpay you are really dumb. Bitpay forces users to use software wallets instead of hardware wallets. If bitcoin is all about security and bitpay respect that security then why you are forcing users to use cloud or software wallets while they feel much safer with their hardware wallets? Shame on you BITPAY. and Thank you @alexk111 |
Yay! Success! |
It's successful for me to use my BitCoin wallet to pay for VPS. Thanks for @alexk111 to provide this useful tool :). |
ถ้าฉันจะดึงปัญหาตั้งแต่เริ่ม มาลงที่จุดนี้ แล้วพูดว่าขอบคุณ!!! |
Hey, I also wanted to say THANK YOU. I use this a lot. Would love to contribute if needed. Let me know. Thanks! |
Works perfectly. You are a lifesaver. |
it worked! thanks a lot! 👍 |
It worked today 23-06-2020 |
Thanks for this great help |
I've just implemented an experimental mechanic on my GitHub repos and created a new "It still works" issue to enable it. If anyone has recently paid a decoded invoice, please write a comment there. You might also donate some sats using the button in the issue and see the new mechanic in action 💝 |
Big thanks to you. Bitpay protocol is dumb, you make it smart, by giving me the QR code my wallet wanted. Thanks again for making this app and sharing it for free!
Just want to let everyone know this app still works fine in 2019
