Code of Conduct

Our Pledge

We, as members and contributors of TabNote, pledge to make our community a welcoming and respectful place for everyone, regardless of their background, identity, or experience. We value diversity and inclusion and we are committed to fostering a positive and productive environment where everyone can learn, grow, and collaborate.

Our Standards

We expect everyone who participates in TabNote to follow these standards:

  • Be kind and courteous to others
  • Use appropriate language and avoid offensive or abusive comments
  • Respect different opinions and perspectives
  • Give constructive feedback and accept criticism gracefully
  • Help others when possible and ask for help when needed
  • Adhere to the project's code style and conventions
  • Acknowledge the work and contributions of others

Our Responsibilities

We, as maintainers of TabNote, are responsible for enforcing this code of conduct. We will review and investigate any reports of unacceptable behavior and take appropriate actions to address them. We may remove, edit, or reject any contribution that violates this code of conduct. We may also ban or block anyone who repeatedly or severely violates this code of conduct.

Reporting Guidelines

If you witness or experience any unacceptable behavior in TabNote community, please report it to us by emailing [email protected]. Please provide as much detail as possible about the incident, such as:

  • The date and time of the incident
  • The location or platform where the incident occurred
  • The names or usernames of the people involved
  • A description of what happened and how it made you feel
  • Any evidence or screenshots that support your report
  • Any other information that you think is relevant

We will review your report as soon as possible and respond accordingly. We will respect your privacy and confidentiality.

Scope

This code of conduct applies to all TabNote activities, such as:

  • The TabNote GitHub repository and issues
  • The TabNote VS Code extension page and reviews
  • Any other online or offline platforms where TabNote is discussed or represented

This code of conduct is adapted from the Contributor Covenant, version 2.1.
