FWIW, It worked fine for me on MacBookPro 16", 2021 Apple M1 Pro. I installed Fuse for macOS, then installed XCode, enabled Command Line, then followed https://github.com/alperakcan/fuse-ext2/blob/899f17c982dadcea13aa447c3a83c53b9431435a/README.md

I am getting same build error. I have followed @rxaviers instructions also. Installed XCode, xcode-select and then ran the build using script.sh as given in the repo. I am running MacOS Sequoia 15.1.1 and macFuse 4.8.3 and Xcode 16.2 Build version 16C5032a on MacBook M3 Pro.
