It would be nice if there was a way to remove the consumer CRDs without deleting the underlying database and user credentials.
The use case here is a migration to another database cluster, and needing to preserve the old database for rollback purposes. It is similar to the concept for PVs https://kubernetes.io/docs/concepts/storage/persistent-volumes/#reclaiming
