Will the concept of embedded connectors be implemented in kafka-connect? #9

The idea of embedding connectors within streaming apps is very promising.
It would be good to learn about possible plans for incorporating this in kafka-connect itself.

Kafka community has a JIRA for this, doesn't seem to be priority though:
