I love the new mixed signal mode. That problem I told you about yesterday seems to be from the internal (analog) trigger setting. If I leave internal (analog) “on”, and try to trigger from a digital signal, then it seems to actually trigger the logic off of the logic symbol, and the analog off of the analog trigger—which leads to wonky results. But if I set internal (analog) to “off”, then I can trigger on a digital signal.
So here’s it working:
And this is the triggering setup for that:
But setting Internal (analog) = “on”, and leave the digital trigger enabled, then it locks to CH1, but also locks to the digital trigger. Which gives very wrong timing (you can see the digital inputs are inverted), like this:
So it is working great--I just need to remember to set the internal analog to off when using digital triggers. And then I guess switch back to “on”, and delete the digital trigger, if I want to use CH1 to trigger. Maybe there’s a way to automate that so only one trigger is active? I don’t think you’d ever want two separate triggers, each with their own timing—at least not in mixed signal view.
