Hi Andreas,

I use the following webcomponent in my project quiet havely:
https://www.webcomponents.org/element/split-me

Unfortunatelly the component has a lot of dependecyies and is not following the weightless approach.

Please close this request of you are not interested in such a component.
But I think it would enhance the functionality of this library.
