I think you need to open the Anytype in the background. then click on the Pair with the app.
If this does not work then reinstall the extension and then do the mentioned procedure. In linux like Pop os: if the code not automatically paste. Then

  1. Enable the Developer option in extension manager page.
  2. Now right click on extension
  3. Then click Inspect Popup. Now you easily put the code.
    I think this steps fix te issue.
