[Feature Request] Add an interface to write javascript functions which can be converted in to normalized update function

Is it possible to write an update function like the ordinary javascript functions?

It is more friendly to have such an interface in fauxton where we can write the javscript functions and convert it into update functions as the acceptable normalized format
