Wikipedia Pages #6
Comments
Hey, As a complete beginner I was looking for helping out on open source projects (just the most basic parts). I found this issue to be relatively on the lighter end of the spectrum. Can I try to resolve this issue? |
Hi @HelloWorld-pixel ! Of course you are welcome to do so -- please update the wikipedia pages on apertium in as many languages as you speak :) |
as above participate in inactive or had not done I think |
Hi, can you pls assign this issue to me as its already 1st of September and I guess OSH has started |
Assign? Not needed. It's Wikipedia. Anyone can edit those pages. It's not something we can or should assign to any one person. |
@vaibhavarora102, if you fix any Wikipedia pages, feel free to mention it here. We're happy to review your fixes. |
can i fix this issue or it is already fixed, i am Beginner so i want some confidence by doing this. |
@sachin-vinod go for it |
how i came to know on which line or file this issue exist |
Compare the two Wikipedia articles, and update the Spanish one to be as good or better than the English one. And you should be a native Spanish speaker or equivalent - don't use machine translation to just convert the English one. |
@sachin-vinod The issue is with wikipedia pages, so fixing it involves going the page for Apertium in whatever languages you're comfortable with and making sure that the information is correct. |
where i have to update this after that |
Just leave a comment here mentioning that you have done it. |
I am comfortable with English one |
The English one is fine. We need Spanish and other languages fixed. |
@sachin-vinod, if you know any languages other than English, please feel free to update (or write) the Apertium Wikipedia page in that language and leave a note here mentioning what you've done and linking to that page. |
https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apertium links to wrong places and is generally outdated compared to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apertium - needs fixing.
Other language versions are probably equally wrong and need fixing.
