What is the 2019 plan after geolite2 removes longitude/latitude?

I just noticed on the Geolite2 database page that Maxmind intends to remove the longitude/latitude information from the geolite2 free databases in 2019. Is there a backup plan?

MaxMind is no longer removing the latitude and longitude from GeoLite2. See our blog post for more information.
