Settings: open Artisan on the old machine. Save the settings out (Help --> Save Settings). Copy that file to the new machine. Open Artisan. Help --> Load Settings. Old roasts - save them to a reliable middle server (personally mine get saved to OneDrive so they're backed up permanently) or transfer them manually, your call. You should know how to do this task anyway, right? USB drives? |

I have been using an old Macbook Pro (Catalina 10.15) and Artisan legacy for my roasting on a US Roaster Corp machine. I just got a new Macbook Pro (Sequoia 15.1) and I have downloaded the latest Artisan for OS (3.1) along with Phidgit 22 drivers for my thermocouples. I would greatly appreciate any advice/tips and guidance on how to ensure I successfully transfer or inport/export my artisan settings, files, profiles, etc. to my new Macbook Pro so I can hopefully have a seamless transfer in laptops and continue roasting without missing a beat. Thanks in advance for the assist.
PS - I have read and printed Michael Herbert's documentation on Artisan Set up, Quick Start Guide, etc.; which has been extremely helpful. However, I have not found or read any info on transferring artisan operations from one laptop to another with all associated files, records and settings, which is what I am looking for today. Thanks again!
