- This module was developed to extend pos_product_template in order to make it work on DBs with >30k variants. To achieve that, it implements the standard odoo pos configurator layout in pos in order to make it work with products with variants:

Select PoS > configuration > enable flag "Product Configurator"
After install this module, "create variants: never" attributes are not displayed in pos product configurator
