If we could capture location data for "any" applications in machine-readable form, we could show offer to show "nearby" applications to chapters that might consider funding projects slightly further afield from their cities, but aren't willing to sift through all the "any" applications to find them.
Capturing location data could also be useful for thematic chapters, who might be interested in showing a map of where they've given grants.
