Hi,

I Install in my computer a x86 And x64 version, and muy ODBC test from odbc config works fine. but when try connect from excel or PowerBI, system returns next error message:

"Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 126. The specified module could not be found
Amazon DocumentDB, C:\Program Files\Amazon DocumentDB\ODBC Driver\documentdb.odbc.dll"

any idea?

Hello, there are several possible causes of the issue:

  1. maybe the issue you're experiencing is related to this (PowerBI Desktop cannot load the DocumentDB ODBC driver library)?
  2. Or it might be due to the Excel/PowerBI not being able to access any folder under C:\Program Files\.
  3. DSN might be pointing to wrong driver. Please make sure you're using the same DSN as the DSN used in ODBCTest, or create a new DSN after driver installation.

I had this same issue. My instance of Power BI Desktop was installed from the Store. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it from the link in alinaliBQ's response and everything is working fine now.

I no longer spend a single second on the DocumentDB connector, neither AWS directly gives me an answer. Quick and simple solution, move all my DBs to MongoDB, easy and fast
