Lights flicker off before dimming with adaptive lighting

I have some LED pot lights on an Inovelli Red dimmer switch. I have noticed that sometimes when adaptive lighting adjusts the brightness (I would say at least 80% of the time), the light turns completely off for a split second, then return to its previous brightness and fades down. I suppose this could be an issue with the dimmer or the pot lights, but I haven't ever noticed the same flicker problem when adjusting the brightness outside of adaptive lighting.

I have tried extending the period between dimming updates and it has maybe helped (though maybe it is a specific dimming range that experiences the issues and as I type the issue is naturally less prone).

Any other suggestions to fix this?
